A little example of what you’ll find in the zine.

This is rad. People always ask me, “but why don’t you eat honey?” and I rarely have a “real” (factual) answer, all I can ever manage to get out is “I don’t have the right to forcibly take something from another living being……” before I get cut off by dismissive omnivores.

Someone once said to me, in response to me saying I don’t eat honey, “it’s just a fucking bug!” It took everything in me not to punch them.

I stopped eating honey two years ago, about a year into my veganity when a friend of mine said “if you’re going to fight to protect animals, why treat any differently no matter the size?”

Of course, I’m paraphrasing. What he really said was “dude, if you’re going to do it, might as well go all the way.”

I know what he meant.
